Hatzel & Buehler has been selected as the Electrical Contractor for the new WFGD Unit #2 project at the EKPC Spurlock Station located in Maysville, KY. 

ALSTOM Power Inc. is the Construction Manager for the project.

The new WFGD (Wet flue gas desulphurization) unit will reduce sulfur dioxide and particulate emissions from the existing 340MW pulverized coal boiler.
