Hatzel & Buehler awarded work for TEVA Pharmaceuticals

Teva Pharmaceuticals is expanding its research and development operations into a new 33,500 square foot GMP pilot plant. 16,000 square feet of clean room space will be supported by a new central utility plant. Hatzel and Buehler will provide a complete BIM designed project that will consist of a new 4000A electrical distribution with two paralleled 650kW diesel generators for back up. Additional scope of work includes the installation of a 320kW UPS for critical lab loads. The mechanical loads are being fed from a combination of three motor control centers totaling 2800A, with each load being individually controlled. The Labs will consist of a state of the art controls and varying power arrangements to maximize efficiencies.
