The Michigan office of Hatzel & Buehler is located in Livonia, Mi. It was opened in 1922 to provide electrical services to the emerging automotive industry. Its market focus is the geographical area of Southeastern Lower Michigan. It serves both industrial and commercial customers.

Industriallythe Michigan office has maintained many long term relationships and has established an excellent reputation with current clients including The Ford Motor Co., Daimler- Chrysler and General Motors. Hatzel & Buehler is a major electrical contractor for the petrochemical industry with clients including Marathon Petroleum Co., Bp, Sunoco, Shell Oil and RKA Petroleum.

Commercially our focus is in the areas of core and shell, tenant fit out and new construction. Major commercial clients include Merrill Lynch, Hines Properties, GM (Ren Cen) and Dykema Gossett. We also have completed a variety of projects for universities including Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Eastern University and Wayne State University.

The Communication Technologies Division technical capabilities include horizontal station cabling (category 3, 5e, 6 and 6A), copper backbone cabling, fiber optic backbone cabling (multimode, single mode and laser optimized), data center cabling, paging systems, audio visual systems cabling (series 6, hardline and video electronics), riser closet documentation and clean-up. We also offer complete card access, CCTV (closed circuit television) systems and also fire and burglar alarm systems. The Michigan team consists of BICSI trained and certified technicians in addition to a BICSI RCDD. We are fully trained and certified with the telecommunications industries leading connectivity and cable manufactures.

Hatzel & Buehler receives “CAM Gold Safety Award”

Hatzel & Buehler was recognized by the Construction Association of Michigan (“CAM”) with the CAM Safety Achievement Gold Award.

On Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the CAM annual luncheon, Hatzel & Buehler was presented with this award for achieving zero injuries in 2007 for the 150,000 - 500,000 hours worked category.

Hatzel & Buehler received the CAM Safety Award in 2005 and 2006 for having injury rates below industry averages in the categories of Lost Work Days and OSHA Recordable.
