The New York City office of Hatzel & Buehler, Inc. was the firm's original location, established in 1884 by founders John D. Hatzel and Joseph Buehler. They were employed as master electricians at the nation's first publicly owned power station on Pearl Street in New York City. The New York office is currently located in downtown Manhattan.

Our focus is on corporate infrastructure upgrades related to redundant power systems, security and fire safety installations, new office construction and trading facilities, television and radio broadcast studios and transmission systems related to high definition TV. We have long term relationships with clients such as Chase Bank N.A., American Express, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, Federal Home Loan, and broadcasters such as ABC, NBC, CBS and WPIX.

Hatzel & Buehler, Inc. is proud to be affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local #3. The New York City office is a pioneer member of the New York Electrical Contractors Association and the National Electrical Contractors Association.
