Calgon Carbon Corporation authorized the capital expenditure of $20 million dollars to refurbish and restart an idle production line at its Big Sandy Plant to produce 70 million pounds of FLUEPAC(R) powdered activated carbon to meet anticipated demand from the electric utility industry. Hatzel & Buehler was contracted to perform the I&E portion of this high profile project.
