Mondelez International, Inc. is a global snacking company, selling biscuits, gum, candy, chocolate, and powdered beverages in over 165 countries, with brands such as Oreo, Nabisco, Cadbury, Trident and Tang. In 2015, Mondelez began to modernize its manufacturing lines at their U.S. biscuit plants, including the Fair Lawn, NJ Bakery that makes Oreos, Teddy Grahams, Ritz Crackers, Lorna Doone and Barnum Animal Crackers.
Hatzel & Buehler has completed a number of projects at the 750,000 square foot, 9-story facility. Overall scopes of work have included: providing power wiring, controls, and instrumentation for automation of an Oreo sugar line and mixing line for dough and icing, Teddy Graham Packing Line, a fully automated palletizer system in the central distribution area and Teddy Case Conveyor system. All work is done in a fully operational facility.
