International Pharmaceutical Company, Novo Nordisk, will headquarter its United States operations in a newly renovated 770,000 square foot office building in Plainsboro, New Jersey that will accommodate up to 1,500 employees. The building’s facade, roof and interiors were replaced to create a contemporary, high efficiency building designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification. The renovated facility consists of a series of office pods arranged diagonally across a central Main Street. Each office pod encompasses a variety of work spaces, including offices, conference rooms, special projects rooms, huddle spaces and open collaborative spaces.
Hatzel & Buehler was awarded the contract to furnish and install electrical work for the interior fit-out of five “pods” in the facility, including new lighting, lighting control, expansion of existing distribution, switchgear and fire alarm system.
