Delaware Office upgrades electrical systems throughout Nemours Children’s Hospital

Hatzel & Buehler was recently awarded the electrical portion of the Infrastructure Upgrade project at Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. This multi-year project will be completed as an IPD (“Integrated Project Delivery”) project, with Hatzel & Buehler acting as one of the primary trade partners. The project consists of a complete replacement of the existing electrical infrastructure with new normal and emergency electrical substations and associated distribution. Hatzel & Buehler will also provide the electrical and fire alarm services to new Air Handler Units throughout the facility that are being replaced as part of the Infrastructure Upgrade. In addition, Hatzel & Buehler is responsible for spearheading the 3D BIM coordination process with all trade partners. Work will be conducted in a fully-operational children’s hospital, requiring a high level of coordination to ensure there is no interruption to the hospital’s operations.

ENR ranks Hatzel & Buehler 29th among the top 50 Electrical Firms

In their Annual Top Contractor report, ENR Magazine has ranked Hatzel & Buehler 29th (up from 33rd, in 2014) among the Top 50 Electrical firms in the country. In addition, Hatzel & Buehler was ranked 75th (versus 91st, in 2014) among the top specialty contractors in the country.

Delaware Office renovates 43,000 square feet of office space for Wells Fargo

Hatzel & Buehler’s Delaware office was recently awarded the renovation of three floors of office space, for Wells Fargo, in the high rise building (formerly known as the Rollins building) located in Wilmington, Delaware. The 43,000 square feet of office space included executive level administrative spaces, as well as conference room spaces. Hatzel & Buehler’s overall scope of work included the installation of new electrical power, lighting, dimming, security and fire alarm systems.

NECA recognizes Hatzel & Buehler branch offices for their excellence in Safety

The Hatzel & Buehler New Jersey, West Virginia, Philadelphia and Delaware Offices proudly received NECA’s Zero-Injury Award, which recognized the individual offices for no recordable incidents, throughout the year.

The Hatzel & Buehler New Jersey and West Virginia Offices also received a Safety Excellence Award, which is part of NECA’s premier safety recognition program.
