Hatzel & Buehler completes electrical work for Philadelphia Broadcasting Company

Hatzel & Buehler began work on the 62,000 square foot full floor renovation at the new Aramark tower for the broadcasting company, Entercom.  The space consists of a mix of broadcast studios, individual offices, open office work areas, a café, and numerous conference/multipurpose rooms. Hatzel & Buehler’s scope of work includes all new switchgear, branch power and lighting, a Lutron lighting control system and theatrical lighting control system, fire alarm, basket tray, two 150kw UPS systems, and a 1000kW generator with two Automatic Transfer Switches.

Philadelphia Office performs electrical work for University of Arts Music School

Hatzel & Buehler will be retrofitting a 15,000 square foot floor, within the University of Arts Music School.  Overall scope of work includes the complete Demolition and re-build of Director’s Offices, Open Collaboration Spaces, Ensemble Studios, Rehearsal Studios, Production Suites, Circuitry Lab, Mixing/Mastering Classroom and Instructional Labs. The majority of these rooms will be constructed to maintain complete soundproofing of individual rooms. Each room will receive customized lighting and lighting controls to accommodate the specific usage of that room.  Hatzel & Buehler’s additional scope of work includes new panels and transformers, fire alarm, and an extensive Low Voltage and Audio Visual back-bone.

Hatzel & Buehler launches Building Automation Systems’ Division

Hatzel & Buehler has assembled a specially trained team of both office and field personnel, dedicated to Building Automation Systems (BAS) installations.  The team will partner with valued integrators to complete the installations.  The introduction of this new division was designed to further support Hatzel & Buehler’s existing Customer Relationships, to now offer customers an added electrical service.

Viewpoint recognizes Hatzel & Buehler and Bluestone Communications with 2018 Technology Award

Hatzel & Buehler and Bluestone Communications were recognized by our corporate software partner, Viewpoint, with a 2018 Technology Award.  Award recipients “demonstrate innovative, forward-thinking approaches to technology, using Viewpoint solutions to solve important business challenges” (Viewpoint).  Hatzel & Buehler and Bluestone Communications received this honor in recognition of their successful, company-wide implementation of Spectrum (an ERP software).  Such implementation allowed the companies to improve overall processes and provide greater access to real-time data.

Hatzel & Buehler acquires the assets of J.P. Rainey & Company, Inc. 

Hatzel & Buehler, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has acquired the assets of J.P. Rainey & Company, Inc.  J.P. Rainey specialized in providing electrical services to health care providers in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area.  Among its leading clients were Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Main Line Health Systems, which includes such hospitals as Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, and Riddle Hospital.  The acquisition of J.P. Rainey will add to Hatzel & Buehler’s growing list of health care clients such as Inspira Health Networks, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, Penn Medicine, Northwell Health, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and University of Michigan Health System.

NECA recognizes New York Office for their safety excellence, in 2017

The Hatzel & Buehler New York office proudly received NECA’s 2018 ‘Recognition of Achievement in Safety Excellence’, for achieving a superior safety performance score, during the 2017 calendar year.  This score is based on a point system for having injury and illness rates and an insurance industries EMR, which exceeds industry standards.

Hatzel & Buehler forms “Code of Excellence” partnership with IBEW

Hatzel & Buehler has proudly partnered with the IBEW LU351 to form a “Code of Excellence” partnership, on the Inspira Health project, in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. “The Code of Excellence is a program designed to bring about the best in our electricians and management, and demonstrate to our customers that IBEW members perform the highest quality and quantity of work, while utilizing their skills and abilities to the maximum.”

New Jersey Offices receives the Governor’s Citation of Merit Award

The State of New Jersey recognized the Hatzel & Buehler New Jersey Office, at the 90th Annual Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Awards Dinner. The New Jersey Office received the “Governor’s Citation of Merit Award”, which recognized the branch for working 344,776 work-hours without lost time from a work-related injury or illness during the 2017 calendar year. Hatzel & Buehler’s New Jersey office is committed to continuing this same safe-work approach into the 2018 calendar year.

New York Office provides city-mandated Fire Alarm upgrades

In accordance with New York City’s Local Law 26 (a law designed to ensure proper fire protection measures are implemented throughout city buildings) Hatzel & Buehler’s New York Office will upgrade the electrical and fire alarm systems, throughout Verizon’s mid-town Manhattan Office Building.  Such upgrades will be performed through the use of VESDA  (very early smoke detection apparatus) and the upgrade of the regular fire alarm system, by providing it with Dual Electrical Feeds.
