Company Wide Initiatives

In alignment with our Mission and Core Values, Hatzel and Buehler has undertaken the below initiatives

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Hatzel & Buehler leaders begin their training by attending a 4-day leadership training program. The program is designed to increase self-awareness of participants’ current strengths and weaknesses and build foundational leadership skills in the future that will serve industry leaders and the company as a whole.  The program involves hands-on learning as well as deep insights. Participants undergo a variety of assessments to provide them with powerful insight into themselves and how others view them as leaders. At the conclusion of the program, participants identify specific action plans to further develop their leadership skills.

WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION GROUP

With this initiative, Hatzel & Buehler seeks to foster an inviting and empowering environment to encourage inclusivity of women in our workplaces.  We aim to strengthen and amplify the success of women in the Hatzel & Buehler family. Women In Construction is committed to championing women to impact the direction of the construction industry, thereby creating a stronger and more sustainable future for everyone.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Companywide, Hatzel & Buehler looks to match employees of varying experience levels to leverage and share existing business knowledge.  The Mentorship Program identifies, matches, and guides Mentors and Mentees.  The mentor is looked upon as a positive role model who can be relied upon to listen actively and provide encouragement to the mentee.
