Hatzel & Buehler has been a preferred contractor of the Marathon Refinery of Detroit for over twenty five years. The Hatzel & Buehler Michigan team provides Marathon with high and medium voltage systems, instrumentation work (E&I packages), communications technologies and heat tracing for all piping systems.
Hatzel & Buehler has worked in various units at the Detroit Refinery including: Alky, Sulfur, LPG, Platformer, CCR, CO Boiler, Benzene and Waste Water Treatment. For the last six years, Hatzel & Buehler has logged over 50,000 man hours annually at the Detroit refinery. Our safety record has been recognized as exemplary by Marathon as all of Hatzel & Buehler’s projects over the past five years have been completed with zero safety incidents.
