With a seventy year history, Nemours is a leading Children’s Hospital, with facilities in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida. Across the four states, 250,000 children are cared for annually.
Hatzel & Buehler was engaged by Nemours for a “state of the art project” involving the latest in innovative cardiac catheterization technology for children. The project, defined as a specialty electrical contracting project, required selective demolition in a hospital type environment. The project had additional requirements including coordination of the installation of new specialized owner furnished equipment in a hybrid environment space that was also utilized as a hospital operating room facility.
