A new FRC Homeport facility and pier replacement(for the United States Coast Guard’s New Jersey Training Center)is being constructed.The project consists of the demolition of an existing pier, construction of a new pier, waterfront upgrades, a new 10,780SF support building and related utility upgrades.
Hatzel & Buehler’s scope of work includes providing complete electrical and communications systems at the both the support building and pier inclusive of utility duct banks, distribution switchgear, pier power mounds and shore ties, interior and exterior lighting and lightning protection. Low voltage systems include fire alarm, public address, security and telecommunications.
