Hatzel & Buehler will be the electrical contractor for Hackensack Meridian Health’s new Dr. Robert H. Harris Emergency Care Center at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. The new 32,000 square foot addition and 12,500 square foot renovation will provide thirty-five private patient bays, a crisis unit, swing space with capacity for pediatric care and new imaging equipment for ER patients. The project also features a new medical center lobby, including new reception and waiting areas, and interior renovations to create a new main corridor linking each side of the medical center. Hatzel & Buehler’s work includes new lighting & lighting control, new 15 kV service, new emergency distribution system, mechanical equipment wiring, electric vehicle chargers, paging and fire alarm systems, and the installation of nurse call, medical gas alarms & decontamination systems wiring.
