Hatzel & Buehler was selected as the electrical design-assist partner for the new Allegheny Health Network – Forbes Cancer Care Center in Monroeville, PA. The new 63,000 square foot facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art radiation oncology, medical oncology, infusion therapy and advanced imaging (PET scans, MRI, CT scans, X-rays, bone density and ultrasound imaging.) Hatzel & Buehler worked closely with Allegheny Health Network, the design team, and the Mechanical design-assist partner to finalize the design and help resolve all electrical issues as they arose. Hatzel & Buehler participated in the BIM coordination process for this project and is implementing a prefabrication strategy that will result in time savings in the field to meet this project’s accelerated schedule.
