Hatzel & Buehler is a nested contractor at the BASF Wyandotte, MI Campus. Hatzel & Buehler has been involved in a variety of projects ranging from complex process automations upgrades to standard maintenance and reliability activities. Our services on site involve high voltage distribution, substation distribution, and lighting upgrades. We have been involved in site wide shutdowns and cutovers of critical power distribution infrastructure. Hatzel & Buehler also provides extensive instrumentation support for BASF. We have been involved in general instrumentation installations, and upgrades of DCS and SIS instrumentation systems. Hatzel & Buehler, along with their subsidiary Bluestone Communications, is the preferred low voltage and communication contractor on site. Projects include structured cabling infrastructure, security, fiber optic installation, and remediation of existing network enclosures over the entire campus. Hatzel & Buehler has also performed several Building Automation System upgrades in many of the labs on site. These projects have allowed for the buildings to operate in a more safe environment for BASF employees and also provide energy efficiency for their mechanical systems.
