Hatzel & Buehler, Inc. has worked at the General Mills facility, in Wellston, Ohio for the last 5 years. This plant is the largest pizza plant in the world, producing in excess of 1.2 million pizzas per day and 29,000 pizza rolls every minute.
Recently Hatzel & Buehler was the successful bidder on several portions of the new Smithsonian project. This project represents a $66 million investment that will replace aged equipment and streamline the production process. Two Multi-Pack lines, which put 10 pizzas in a case, were installed. In addition, Hatzel & Buehler is working on the complete renovation of two spiral freezers.
Hatzel & Buehler’s qualified team of electricians worked around the clock to complete the difficult tasks and scheduling restraints which were presented.
