The University of Pennsylvania Health System, founded in 1993, is a renowned diverse research, health/clinical care, and academic organization in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The University of Pennsylvania Health System is comprised of three hospitals, two regional medical centers and a multitude of clinical care providers in the greater Philadelphia area. Their Corporate Services division provides strategic support to all of its counterparts & partnerships.

The University of Pennsylvania Health System moved into 64,000 square feet of space in the west tower of Centre Square, located at 1500 Market Street, in Philadelphia.  The following year, they took over an additional 114,000 square feet of space in the same building.  Hatzel & Buehler completed a partial demolition and electrical renovation of the space.  The project involved installing a new fire alarm system as well as furnishing and installing all new lighting and power throughout both floors.  The renovation also included the installation of a new low voltage lighting control system and occupancy sensors in all private offices.
