The overall project scope included the construction of an internal combustion engine based 10MW capacity landfill methane gas to an energy power plant, located on an existing 2.2 acre site. The project primarily involved the rigging, assembly, installation, start-up and performance testing of equipment. The exterior of the building was modified to accomodate new ventilation system requirements and piping to radiators, above ground storage tanks and stack. Interior modifications included the expansion of the mezzanine level.
Hatzel & Buehler’s scope of work included a 15kV distribution system, branch power and wiring, conduit infrastructure for SCADA systes and new HVAC equipment as well as providing lighting, lightning protection, fire alarm, security and CCTV systems.
