Hatzel & Buehler was engaged to install Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) capacity to an existing facility in preparation for the projected annual growth in electrical demand. Hatzel & Buehler provided the electrical installation services as well as Construction Management services and sub-contracted services of all associated trades for the work. Hatzel’s & Buehler’s scope of work included the following:
- Provided installation of new UPS system
- Provided installation of new double-ended Substation to support UPS
- Installed bus duct and cable feeders
- Documented generator power
- Reconfigured data center power distribution
- Provided new pads and conduit stub outs for two future phase outdoor substation transformers
- Provided modifications to lighting, fire alarm and control systems
- Testing
